Obituary
Denise Anne Rednour (Davis), a long-time resident of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on the 16th of February 2021, with family and friends surrounding her, after a battle with Cancer.
Denise was born in Denver, Colorado, to William and Dolores Davis. She grew up in Littleton, Colorado, Santa Maria, CA, and Slidell, LA. While attending Slidell High school, she met the love of her life and soul mate, Rodney Rednour. They would marry in 1987 and settle in Long Beach, Mississippi.
Denise had two passions – photography and animals. She was a devoted lover of animals, particularly concerned about the welfare of dogs and cats. Denise was a member of a Great Pyrenees dog rescue organization, and over the years, had many pets she loved. She enjoyed taking photos of her pets and local points of interest in the Mississippi area that she called home. Denise was also concerned for the welfare of children. In a gesture that was in keeping with her generous heart, she created an online fundraiser to celebrate her birthday in January for CASA of Santa Barbara County, an organization she supported for years. Her family and friends helped her exceed her fundraising goal, impressed by her wishes to help others.
Many friends will remember her passion for the environment and all of God’s creatures, as she helped with the clean-up and documentation of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico
