Mr. Beck was a multi sport athlete at Ridley Township High School. He went on to West Chester State College, where he was also an outstanding athlete. He then went onto receive his masters degree from Villanova University.
He spent two years in the United States Army and served in Korea. He took a teaching position at Ridley Township High School in 1956.
