About	Richard E. Temple "Gimp", 67 of Holmes, PA, passed away Sunday July 18, 2021, at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born in Darby, PA. he was the son of Richard J. and Nancy (Fullmer) Temple. He was employed by Ridley Township Police Department as a dispatcher for over 27 years. Rich was also employed by The Delaware County Emergency Services Center as a dispatcher. Rich was a life member of the Holmes fire Company where he's been serving since 1977. Rich held positions such as Engineer, Chief Engineer and in his current position as President of the fire company since 1996. Rich was also involved with Ridley Park, Milmont Park and Woodlyn fire companies. When Rich was not working or volunteering, he loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandkids. Predeceased by his sister Debbie Temple Donkin, nephew James Donkin and son in Law Kenneth "KC" Berry. Survived by his loving parents Richard and Nancy Temple, wife Geraldine A. (Clymer) Temple, brother Ron (Joanne) Temple and sister Donna Cornish, children Richard J (Kathy) Temple, Kimberly Berry, Danielle Temple, Kristen Temple, Jeffrey Temple and John Temple. Grandchildren Collin Berry, Kylee Berry, Ryan Temple, Shane Temple, and Summer McNamee. Along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 6:00-9:00 PM at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service. 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA 19036 and Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by his service at 10:00 AM. Interment will be Thursday in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Holmes Fire Company. Station 43 240 Holmes Rd. Holmes PA, 19043.
