Services were to be held this morning for Richard P. Grayson, a University of Pennsylvania employee who died Thursday of natural causes. He was 36 and lived in Sharon Hill, Delaware County.
Grayson was assistant personnel manager of the school for the past two years. Previously he had worked for the Veterans Administration.
He was a 1971 graduate of Ridley High School.
Survivors include his parents, Jess R. and Elizabeth M. Feeney Grayson; four brothers, Michael, Philip, William and John; two sisters, Elizabeth Westerberg and Mary Jane Whelan; and a friend, Mary Meyers; and her two sons, Don and Phil.
Mass of Christian Burial was to be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Mohawk Avenue east of Cleveland Avenue, Norwood. Burial will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Sproul and Crum Creek roads, Marple Township, Delaware County.
Contributions may be made to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's Heart Transplant Unit, 209 Blockley Hall, Philadelphia, Pa. 1910
