About | William E. Gloster "Billy G.", age 62, of Media, passed away surrounded by his family on July 7, 2018. Billy fought his battle with cancer hard over the last three years and never fell short in courage or stubbornness even in his last days. His scars and perseverance will forever be admired. A native of Ridley Park, Billy attended Ridley High School and graduated class of 1973. Billy enjoyed sharing memories of the years he spent in Florida where he met his wife, had a couple of kids, and developed his love for the water. He had a passion for photography, corny jokes, and sharing uplifting messages each day on Facebook. He skillfully combined his two favorite hobbies drinking beer and storytelling. Billy was charming and took every opportunity to brighten someone else's day. Watching the Phillies will not be the same without him. Billy was predeceased by his wife, Sharlin D. Gloster and parents, Paul and Janet Gloster. Billy will be forever remembered by his two devoted daughters, Paige (Christopher) and Stacy (Kevin) Gloster. Billy will be fondly remembered by his sisters Linda Gloster and Nancy Kemmerer as well as his brother, Paul Gloster. He will be forever remembered by his family and loyal friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 10:00 -12:00p.m. at the Cavanagh Patterson Family Funeral Home 43 E. Baltimore Ave Media Pa 19063. You'd never forget him. He was kind, spiritual, inspirational, brave, sweet and would always lend an hear to those who were troubled. He'd never complain about the battle he was fighting. He will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in Peace, Captain Gloster! Ridley Class of 1973 |
