Alexandra Gerliczy O'Rourke of Farmington NH, passed away on 4/25/09 after a long battle with cancer. Alex graduated from RHS in 79 and from the University of NH 83 where she studied pre-vet. In 1986 she married Timothy Patrick O'Rourke. Together Tim and Alex pursued their dream of raising a family on a small farm. Alex was a devoted wife, and mother to her two sons, Shane 11, and Ian 7. She was also a lifelong animal lover, owning numerous pets, caring for horses and tending livestock on her farm. An avid gardener, she started her own nursery, growing a wide variety of vegetables, flowers, and other plants on her "Rocky Meadow Farm." She ran a roadside market stand and was a repeat grand-prize winner at the Rochester Fair. Alex is survived by her husband, Tim; her sons, Shane, 11, and Ian, 7; her parents, George and Eva Gerliczy of Ridgewood, N.J.; her sisters, Felicie Bacinski of Phoenix, Md., and Gabrielle Korosec of Cream Ridge, N.J.; her brother, George Gerliczy of Leesburg, Va.
