Wildcat Bowler Bowls First 300 Game in School History

Darnail Ray Bowls Perfect Game
McKenzie, Tenn. -Every baseball or softball pitcher dreams of pitching that perfect game. Every basketball player dreams of hitting every shot in a given game. Everyfootball player dreams of rushing for 1,000 yards in a season. Soccer players dream of having a hat trick in any given match. Every golfer dreams of a hole in one. These are somewhat rare feats in sports
Bethel University bowler Darnail Ray recently bowled a perfect 300 in the Bulldog Classic in Richmond, Kentucky. The freshman from Memphis Ridgeway High School helped the Cats place second in the event.
It was his fifth 300 game but first as a collegian. It was the first in school history.
Ray commented, "Being able to accomplish this with the level of competition you face in college is very gratifying. Achieving a perfect 300 is the dream of every bowler. The 300 defines a life of hard work and practice. Representing Bethel is a landmark in my life towards believing anything is possible with God, hard work and confidence. I thank God for allowing me to make history and be a part of the Bethel bowling program."
