About Me	I taught school in Vermont so I could ski, and for Department of Defense overseas schools, in Okinawa. I met my husband there, an Air Force officer. I continued to substitute teach until my divorce in 1984. I then opened a successful floral business. In 1995, I decided to go back to graduate school for a Masters degree in social work. I worked in psychiatric hospital in Massachusetts and North Carolina, and also became a therapist. I currently work with military families in the US and abroad.
