Friday, September 25, 2009 3:00PM – 5:00PM “Meet and Greet†at the Monroe Holidome, at which time the reunion packets will be distributed. 6:00PM - Homecoming Game We will attend the Homecoming Game at Richwood High School. At half-time during the football game, a monetary gift will be donated to the school from The Class of 1979 to the Business Department in memory of the late Ms. Dorothy Chambers, one of our senior class sponsors. All classmates will be present on the football field during the presentation. We are encouraged to wear our 30th class reunion T-shirts, which will be included in our packets. Saturday, September 26, 2009 10:00AM – 4:00PM Picnic at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo Pavilion. We ask that our reunion T-shirts be worn during this time as well. 7:00PM – 11:00PM A “Red Carpet Event†at the Monroe Holidome. This event will include Dinner and an evening of Dancing and the dress is Semi-Formal Attire. Sunday, September 27, 2009 11:00AM Memorial Church Service at the New Covenant Christian Center, Monroe, Louisiana. (Martin Luther King Dr-Hwy 165 & Winnsboro Road The cost for this weekend of events is $150.00. Payments can be made at any Chase Bank location. Additional T-shirts may be purchased at the cost of $7.00, with a $2 surcharge for sizes 2X and larger. Please include your T-shirt size and the sizes of any additional T-shirts needed when your RSVP is made. We ask that you RSVP no later than June 5, 2009, so that we can get a general idea of the number of classmates that will be attending. Hotel accommodations have been made at the Holiday Inn-Holidome / 1051 Martin Luther King Drive (Hwy 165) / Monroe, LA 71203/ 318.387.5100. King and Double rooms are available at the discounted rate of $75.00 per night and Suites are $109.00 per night.
