About Me	I moved to Charlotte after graduation, got a job with an insurance company and planned to go to school. Instead I married a dashing older man, Franklin Delamer Jones in October. The folowing July we had a beautiful daughter, Katherine. Then I took a 16 year break and had a son, Kristopher, at age 35. In November 1966 we moved to Brussels, Belgium for 8 months then back to Charlotte, then to ElPaso, back to NC and then to SC and now I'm back in Texas. I was a professional volunteer for 14 years at 5 schools in threee states, Substitute teacher for 10 years in North and South Carolina. Served as President and Vice-President and Treasurer on PTA Boards in Nc and Sc, Member of School Improvement Council for 2 years, Anderson, SC. President and Chairman of the Board of Unity Church of Christianity for 3 years. Vice-Pres and President of Frances Vasen Garden Club in Andersin, SC, for 4 years. Co-Founder and President of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficite Disorder)for 3 years. Took private and group art classes and seminars in oils, acrylic, watercolors and pastels from nationally known artists and attended art classess at the University of Texas at El Paso, Tricounty Tech in Pendleton, SC, and Collin County Community College, Plano, TX. known artists at the University of Texas at El Paso, Tricounty Tech in Pendleton, SC, and Collin County Community College, Plano, TX. Taught Color Theory at Tri-County Tech, Pendleton, SC, Taught Decorative Art, Fabric Painting, Oil and Acrylic classes at private studios in ElPaso, Tx, Kanapolis, NC, and Anderson, SC. January, 2005, I lost my wonderful husband of 39 years, to Pancreatic cancer. I moved to Frisco, Tx June, 2006 for a position as at Scott Johnson Middle School as a Nurse Assistant, in McKinney, Tx. I married a Bloody Brit, Peter George Scott Dove, June 19, 2010. We live in Trenton, Tx, with our 2 cats. We built a go-cart track on three acres behind our house for all 12 of our grand- children. Pete is a retired Master Mariner, Deep Sea Anchor Boat Captain and road racer who now instructs hight speed road racing. He's a gear head to the core.
