| Favorite School Memory | It's hard to say mainly I loved the diversity of personalities of all I met and knew and the open-mindedness that permeated the students. |
| About Me | I attended summer school at the University of London studying drama and literature. Worked on Gary Hart's presidential campaign (co-wrote some of the brochures used at the Democratic convention). Met and became an assistant to Dr. Birute Galdikas, the third Louis Leakey primate researcher. I traveled with her to the rain forests of Borneo and stayed in a camp that was overrun with orangutans, gibbons, a baby malayan sun bear, wild pigs, cobras, and a monkey who adopted me as his Mom. I met my husband there who is a native Dayak of the island. We took care of the baby orangutans, too. I traveled to Ireland to see if I could live there, but ended up choosing Nova Scotia.
