Gary W. Sang, 65, of Salisbury, passed into the arms of God on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. He had been struggling with several health issues over the previous two months. Born in Chicago, Ill. to Charles R. and Betty G. Sang, Gary briefly attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., before graduating from Purdue University. Mr. Sang moved to Salisbury to be closer to family. He had a special aptitude for information technology, but his distinctive excellence was his love for people, which he gave unfailingly. Gary is survived by his twin brother, Barry and wife Kathy, both from Salisbury; and his older brother Richard, of Queens, N.Y. The family will conduct a private memorial service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury.
