| About Me | Enjoyed an exciting adventure as a Law Enforcement Officer in the great State of Alaska. Lived on Kodiak Island, home of the giant Kodiak brown bears and later in Nome Alaska near the Arctic Circle. My job duties enabled me to often travel hundreds of miles to Barrow, the Pribilof Islands, all down the Aleutian Chain to Dutch Harbor. I often chartered small float planes to travel to hundreds of small, isolated and remote Native villages all over Alaska. Every day was truly a unique challenge, always exciting and at times very frightening and dangerous. Retired in 2002 to Sunset Lake on the Northern Oregon coast. Live just over a sand dune from the beach. Lots of Deer, Elk, River Otters, Eagles and hundreds of migrating birds pass by the house.
