About Me	I went to Clackamas Community College for two years virtually free because of music and scholastic awards, graduated with honors with an AS in chemistry. Transferred to OSU and promptly wound up on academic probation. Discovered that I liked and was good at foreign language, so that became my field. I majored in German and minored in Japanese while putting lots of effort into music. Because of budget and staff problems at OSU, my last "year" took three to complete because my upper-division classes simply weren't available. I spent a lot of time taking classes just for fun, working for the music department, and teaching English to foreign students. My Japanese friends pressured me to try JET, so I applied just to shut them up. I wound up getting hired, and I served for the maximum-allowed three years. After that, I was recruited, first by a business English school and then by Seishin Gakuen (academy), where I continue to be employed. I met and married a wonderful Japanese woman.
