Daryl D. Hilbert
Class of 1960
Navy, 3 Years
He then entered the Navy. He spent April 1964 – October 1967 on the USS DARTER as a TM3- Torpedomans Mate- 3rd Class then the USS TRUMPET FISH October through December of 1967.

David George Wood
Class of 1953
Navy, 5 Years
Dave had a distinguished Navy career following college. He was commissioned in 1957 as an Ensign. Dave served on the USS Boston (a missile cruiser) and the USS Lexington (an aircraft carrier). After completing Submarine School, he served on the USS Balao for three years (a submarine that was later painted pink for the 1959 movie "Operation Petticoat"). Dave achieved the rank of Lieutenant, was honorably discharged in 1962, and became a member of the American Legion.

Retired in 1998 after 28+ years, achieved the enlisted rank of E-9 (FTCM), chosen as a Limited Duty Officer Electronics achieving the rank of O-4 (LCDR)

After graduation Sam served in the US Army and made it his career, serving for twenty years and earning the rank of Master Sergeant. Sam was in several differing countries and states. Some locations unknown. He was very well versed on the locations he served in and knew all the points of interest in the places he served. He talked about his time in Germany a lot and really enjoyed his time there. He also talked a lot about his time in New York. Sam retired from the military in 1992.
