| About | Scott Schlapkohl, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. Scott, a welcoming face to everyone in the Steamboat Springs community for 50 years, enjoyed life as a former business owner (Ace Hardware), a bicycling enthusiast and an adventuresome spirit. He always made time to listen and share a story with a twinkle in his eye. Survived by wife, Lola, daughter Jessica (Michael) Hofschulte, and grandchildren Archer, Brooks and Glacier. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Heart of Steamboat United Methodist Church |
