REDWOOD FALLS -- Susan Eileen Woodford Gibson, 56, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Langford, S.D., died Saturday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home and will continue for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
She was born Jan. 30, 1951, in Redwood Falls to Donald and Eileen (Piotter) Woodford. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School and attended Willmar Vo-Tech.
She married Arthur Gibson April 1, 1972, in Redwood Falls. They moved a couple times before settling in Langford S.D. She was treasurer for Aid Association for Lutherans.
She was a Sunday school teacher, member of the church choir, and was in charge of organizing local blood drives.
She is survived by her mother; grandmother: Agnes Piotter; children: Aaron (and Jennifer) Gibson of Johnston, Iowa, Adam (and Holly) Gibson of Willmar, Melissa Gibson of Tea, S.D., and Andrew Gibson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; four grandchildren; and siblings: Mary (and Wayne) Smith, Randy (and Teri) Woodford, Sandy (and Steve) Stenzel, Mike (and Michelle) Woodford and Eric (and Mary) Woodford.
She was preceded in death by her father and three grandparents.
