About	Dave was born on November 12, 1965 in Canby, Minnesota to Howard and Kathryn (Doble) Wiederich. He grew up in the Redwood Falls area and graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1985. Following high school, Dave worked in multiple settings, including local restaurants, construction, Casino Magic in Mississippi, and more. He joined the National Guard in 1991. He married Erin Granberg on September 22, 2012 at the Caribou Gun Club in LeSueur. Dave worked at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center for 16 years, before his retirement in August 2022. Dave earned a reputation for being a practical joker and used his stellar sense of humor to delight (and sometimes annoy) his loved ones. Despite his teasing, Dave’s big heart was evident in all he did, always willing and able to help a friend and a cat (or two or three) in need. In retirement, Dave was able to devote time to his many outdoor hobbies – including fishing and hunting, but also building the largest boat hanger in the county. David is survived by his wife, Erin, siblings, Michael Wiederich, Brian (Diann) Wiederich (Connor, Selena, KaSondra), Lori (Bob) Rebstock (Christina, Hunter, Travis), and countless chosen family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Randy.
Events	Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1 P.M. Visitation will be on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 4-7 P.M. and will continue one hour before the Memorial Service. Both will occur at Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur. Military Honors and refreshments will follow the service.
