About	Caitlin Marie Pendleton was born March 19, 1989 to Robin Pendleton Sr. and Michele Gregg in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. She graduated from Redwood Valley High School in 2006. Caitlin enjoyed hanging out with her friends and working on cars. You could often find her spending time outside or fishing. She had a green thumb and loved growing plants. Caitlin loved spending time with her sister Roberta and her nieces and nephews. As a Dakota, Mdewakanton woman Caitlin was very connected spiritually and traditionally to her native ways, which included the sweat lodge, her beadwork, her dream catchers and her love of her Oyate. Caitlin is survived by her life partner Simone Stillday-Pendleton of Minneapolis; mother Michele Hamid of Morgan; siblings: Marcus, Desiree, Dwan, Robin, Roberta, River and Hunter; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Robin Pendleton Sr., grandfather Robert Pendleton, grandmothers Lorraine Leith and Janet Frazier, uncle Reginald Pendleton and aunt Elizabeth Gregg.
Events	Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Lower Sioux Rec. Center in Lower Sioux (Cansayapi). Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 15 at the Lower Sioux Rec. Center until the time of service on Saturday. Interment will be in the St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery.
