About	Calvin D. Hotovec, 47, of Fairfax, died Monday, Aug. 30, 1999 at home. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Fairfax, with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Cairo Township, Renville County. Visitation is one hour prior to services today at the funeral chapel. He is survived by his wife Pam; sons, Corey and wife Heather of Nicollet, Joel and fiancee Kelly Maurer of Lafayette and Jerry of Fairfax; grandchildren, Kendra and Arron of Nicollet; mother, Helen Hotovec Beckendorf of Redwood Falls; father Lester Hotovec of Delhi; and sister, Leann of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He was born Nov. 22, 1951, in New Ulm, to Lester and Helen (Rasmussen) Hotovec. He grew up in the Redwood Falls area and later moved to Fairfax, where he graduated from Fairfax High School in 1969. He married Pam Firle on Oct. 29, 1968, in Spencer, Iowa. After their marriage, they resided in in Fairfax. He worked at various jobs during his lifetime. He was most recently employed by Tom Palmer Farms of Fairfax.
