About	My first cousin, John Jenkins, was a senior at Redwood when I was but a freshman. His mom, Irene, was my dad's older sister and my godmother. John and I grew up together in the Madrone Canyon. We shared comic books and Mad Magazines and a host of cousins and relatives. John was very special to me and the Estrada family. Yes, he was a bit of a scalawag and definitely a ladies' man, but always beloved by me and our relatives. I miss John but believe that heaven is happier place with him there. God bless you, John.
