About Me	I am a 71-year-old multi-media artist who has lived and worked in Anchorage, Alaska for more than twenty-five years. I received my BA (honors, 1973) from California State University, Sacramento and my MFA (1993) from the University of Alaska Anchorage. I served in the Third Infantry Division of the U.S. Army in West Germany from 1960 to 1963. I have worked as a chef, a commercial fisherman in Southeast Alaska, a U.S. observer aboard Japanese longliners in the Bering Sea and the Gulf of Alaska, an English composition instructor for the University of Alaska Anchorage, and have taught art courses for the University of Alaska, Southeast.
