About Me	After graduation from RHS I spent ten years in the Seattle area going to college and racing my mountain bike. I returned to Bend for two years after college, working summers for the Forest Service fighting fires. I was based at the Sisters Ranger Station as part of an engine crew. In the winters I worked at Mt. Bachelor and Deschutes Brewery, which let me pursue two of my abiding passions (skiing and beer). Eventually my aspirations evolved to a different career and I returned to Seattle to earn a degree in health care administration. In the 11 years since, I have worked at hospitals in Medford, Sacramento, Winston-Salem, NC and now Charlottesville, VA doing strategic planning and business development. Five years ago I married a woman whom I met in Ashland at a swing dance lesson in 1998. She is not a native Northwesterner but loves Central Oregon just as much as I do.
