Bill Wolfenson '65 said:
Bob and I shared punt return duties on the 1964 RHS varsity football team. Head coach Paul Womach always had both of us back to receive punts. We would either hand the ball off to the other one or keep the ball for the punt runbacks. In last game of the '64 season against Riverside High School, I caught a punt and faked a handoff to Bob and I was able to run the ball back for a touchdown. After that play on the sideline, Bob and I had a great laugh together about how he fooled the Riverside players into thinking he had the ball. I have thought of that play many times over the years. Bob was a great kid and I will always remember him. Rest in peace Bob.
