| Favorite School Memory | So many-hard to choose: football games, drinking parties, the overnight pajama party in 1968 at the school where we watched "The Fly", we laughed so hard ! Mrs Giddons, the Choir teacher, poor thing, all we did was drive her nuts... Going to "away "games on the bus; I remember the intense energy in the wrestling gym during matches.. | About Me | Worked of course, continued through the years with my schooling, pursued a career in Crime Victim Advocacy . I have worked in the Legislative arena, and done policy work for Victims of Crime; for over 25 years; began teaching courses in Victimology and Criminal Justice at the college level last year; Speaker and trainer at numerous conferences and trainings nationally for issues related to victims of crime and sexual assault. Right now I work for the parole board in WA as the Victim Liaison. I am setting up their Victim Services program, have been instrumental in getting some policies passed to help victims, and right now we are Introducing a piece of legislation that I've written, to add to the Crime Victims Bill of Rights... I raised two beautiful kids, was a crazy soccer , basketball, softball and track mom (spent 10 years in my car driving to meets!), now have 1 grandchild. Traveled some, but not enough!
