About Me	After graduation I began a "7 Year Extended Coffee Break" at Baylor University, finally graduating with a BA in Religion, then I graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary, a Southern Baptist Seminary, in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1978. I believe I am the only "Preacher" among our group. Most in my class and in my sister's class, 1967, remember the parties we used to throw at our house on Ridgemont, and many remember my Dad, who was a rather big man, and mom who "chaperoned" our parties. Dad began the Citizens National Bank and was it's first president in Capital Plaza. It has since grown into a multi storied business building in addition to being a bank. I pastored several Baptist churches in Texas, including one in Manor, and one bi-vocational church in Granby, Colorado. I also served eleven years as a Prison Chaplain with TDC (Texad Department of Criminal Justice). (I tell people I was in "prison" for eleven years but got to go home each night for "good behavior"! It was really a rewarding ministry. Now my wife, Patricia, and I have both retired from the State of Texas, prison work, plus I am a retired Baptist minister. I teach Senior Men's Sunday School (and when we "promote", we really Promote!, if you know what I mean!) And I teach a Wednesday night Bible study, plus supply preach from time to time. I also do a little substitute teaching in a nearby school system. And I was an Adjunct Professor for Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, for five or six years, teaching Old Testament History, New Testament History, and World Religions.
