| About Me | I got a job with Sundstrand an aerospace company, here in Rockford. I was a project engineer and work on experimental torpedoe technology and on the space shuttle program. I met and married Clifton Jacobs, a graduate of the US Naval Acedemy and submarine officer who also worked at Sundstrand. When I was pregnant with our first child I became a master certified dog training and work out of the house doing that for a while. I've also worked part time for a home improvement store and an independent tile dealer. I,ve have done lots of my own home remodeling including building a 15 x 20 foot addition onto our home. We have three children now: Lillian is 20 and a junior at Illinois College where she is studying biology on a full acedemic scholarship. She hopes to go into forensic pathology. Rose is 18 and a freshman at Ohio Wesleyan University studying physics, also on a full acedemic scholarship. She is minoring in Government and hopes one day to get into politics.
