About Me | My tongue will tell the anger of my heart, or else my heart concealing it will break. --WS Light: I was born in Boston and spent most of my life in Massachusetts, though I have also lived in Utah and California. I currently live in Dorchester, Massachusetts. I attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth as a History and Philosophy major, and last year I published my first novel, "The Marah Of God." I wrote for an Underground Film company, Metropolitan Films, where I wrote on the film "Pony Trouble." I also worked on a movie that did not reach the final production stages, but I thought it was quite good and enjoyed the writing, "Harm School." My dream is to write for a successful science fiction television show, such as LOST, or The New Battlestar Galactica. Dark: I am a survivor of childhood torture, sexual, physical, and mental abuse at the hands of my Mother. I only admitted what had happened to me four and a half years ago. I never though anyone would believe me, and I was terrified of her retribution. But once I started to speak, a lot of people listed. I confronted my mother about the abuse (I was so scared inside,) and said I would have no contact with her until she admired what she did and started intensive counseling. She raged at me and was not open to admitting it or counseling. So we severed ties. Then nearly all of my Maternal Family severed ties with me. It broke my heart but I think its easier for them to believe I am lying or crazy then to believe the truth. My friends and my fathers side of the family however, believe it, believe me. They have been supportive as hell. I do have the scars and chemical burn damage to prove it. But I am working with doctors and therapists to heal my life. And I have great support from my friends and paternal family, and my cool as shit cousin. Some days are really good. Some days are pretty hard. But I am slowly and steadily healing. And over all I do believe my life is heading for great things. L...(read more) |
