David Osborn - Class of 1958 Obituary

DAVID WESLEY OSBORN 10/13/1940 - 9/8/2014 David Wesley Osborn passed way on September 8, 2014. David was born on October 13, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio as the eldest son of David and Esther Osborn Sr. David grew up in Ravenna, Ohio and graduated from Ravenna High School in 1958. From high school, David joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Pensacola, Florida. While serving in the Navy he assumed the position as a Naval Chaplain's Assistant. For over 35 years David worked as a Produce Broker. After moving to Spring Valley Lake, CA. David worked as a Public Safety Officer in the community, ending his career there as Captain of the Public Safety Department. David leaves behind the "Love of his life", Patricia Osborn, son Dane Osborn, daughter Whitney Powell, sister Regina Hill, brother Tommy Osborn, step-son Greg Hartley, step-daughter Melissa Hartley, cousins, nieces, and nephews. David was a beloved "Poppy" to seven grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his father David Wesley Osborn Sr., mother Esther Agnes Osborn, and brother Robert William Osborn. Services will be held on Thursday September 18 at 11am at Sunset Hills in Apple Valley, CA. Internment will be at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA. David was a humble servant at heart. We will miss our "Super Dave Osborn".
