Born in Everett, on March 18, 1964, Diane enjoyed an idyllic childhood in the Druid Hill area of Randolph where she graduated from Randolph High School in 1982. Diane went on to earn two bachelor's degrees from Salem State University, degrees in Sports, Fitness and Leisure Studies and Social Work. Diane enjoyed a 27-year career working for the Massachusetts Parole Board. She began as a Transitional Parole Officer and was promoted to Institutional Parole Officer which is a supervisory role. Diane worked at various institutions across the state including Boston Pre-Release/Longwood, MCI Norfolk, Suffolk House of Correction and MCI Concord. Diane is cherished and survived by her parents, Paul H. and Juanita H. (Denton) Kelley of Randolph; siblings, Daryl P. Kelley of Washington DC, and Debra (Kelley) Tynes (husband Julian T. Tynes) of Springfield; nephews, Julian "Corey" Tynes of Boston, Mitchell E.K. Tynes, Owen C. Tynes, Eric W. Tynes, all of Springfield; and a host of family, colleagues, co-workers and dear friends. Services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., Randolph. The wake will take place from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., followed by a private funeral service at 6 p.m. Services will be lived streamed and can be accessed by visiting www.cartwrightfuneral.com and going to Diane's obituary.
