Deigh, twin sister to Leigh Hockett, passed away Nov. 12, 1995 after an 11 week battle with Melanoma Cancer. Deigh had just graduated from High Point University with a degree in Psychology and was on her way to move in at Central University the day she had her seizure. Diegh's first niece was born 8 days after her death. She is survived by Leigh, Wally & Betsy, brother David, and sister-in-law Kim Shaw Hockett. Her life was celebrated to the fullest with well over 800 friends and family members.
