| About Me | I attended college for two and a half years studying foreign languages hoping to get a job that would allow me to travel. Well, I got a job with AAA Automobile Club in Santa Ana, CA., advising members where to travel by automobile. I worked with the automobile club for 7 years and moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1972 with my husband of one year so he could pursue a pharmacy degree at the University of Arizona. I began working that same year with the Radiation Oncology Department of the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona. I worked in that department for 15 years and transferred to the Steward Observatory/Astronomy Dept. on the Main Campus of the University working as a Business Manager in the Business Office until I retired in 2007. During these many years in Tucson, my husband and I enjoyed hiking, backpacking, camping all over Arizona, into Colorado, and Utah.
