| About Me | I have been blessed and fortunate to be called a daughter, a sister, a wife, a foster parent and a friend. But, my proudest title has been that of "Mom". God has truly blessed me with a funny, energetic, smart and sweet , 7 year old son. Hopefully, with a lot of prayer and the grace of God, he will make a difference in this life and in the end know how deeply he is loved and that he is my reason for living. Oh, let's not forget about the husband! I also have a great husband who has supported and tolerated my crazy family (crazy is an understatement...love you guys), all the stray, neglected and abused pets I have acquired over the years. Along with vet bills that have added up to plenty of money for his dream motorcycle! Needless to say, he doesn't have a motorcycle but what he does have is a crazy family that loves him, enough 4 legged critters always willing and ready with a wet, sloppy kiss and all of us who try to make him understand how much we appreciate him. Even if it is by finding the half eaten prized catch of the day laying on the front porch mat when he leaves for work in the morning. I have been a foster mom to 15 children, owned a business for nearly 12 years, traveled to some of the most beautiful places around the world, bucked bales every summer to learn and appreciate the value of hard work and loved enough people to understand we don't realize what we had with those people until they are gone. Some of the hardest lessons have been accepting that God puts certain people, even children in your life for a limited period of time. Ultimately, life's hardest lessons make you stronger and makes your faith that much more important.
