About	This is rather vague information but I was contacted by his Mother around 1977 or 78 saying that George died of a heart valve repture relating to open heart surgery he had during his freshman year. The problem was unknown of until he went for his football try out physical and was advised to see a heart Dr. He was married with a son about 2 yrs old. He died in their home while running up stairs to kiss his wife goodby for the day prior to going to work. If anyone has an information regarding his wife I would like to contact her. Earle Putnam
