Alumni, We Need YOU!

Dear Ramsay Alumni,

Your alma mater is competing in the Operation Push for Blood: Blood Drive competition against seven other high schools in the Birmingham Metropolitan Area. The Youth Advisory Council of Ramsay International Baccalaureate High School has taken the reigns of this competition. In collaboration with Mrs. Tina Hughes, LifeSouth, and The Sickle Cell Foundation of Birmingham, your alma mater has began a Sickle Cell Awareness Campaign. During this campaign, we have raised awareness of a growing epidemic in our community, and are now giving many, including you, the opportunity to give back by helping us publicize our blood drive, or even donating blood. The blood drive will run Monday, December 7, 2015 through Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in the courtyard of Ramsay High from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. We are asking you, alumni member, to please show your Ramsay pride and assist your alma mater by publicizing our campaign to fellow alumni members and the community to help us receive a sustainable number of donors.

Closing of Ramsay

There will be a meeting held on Monday, February 11, 2008 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm at Parker High School. One step to keeping our wonderful Ramsay High School open is to attend this meeting. Ramsay's students are in the process of planning other events and ways to keep the school open. You may email any comments or suggestions to nscurier@hotmail.com.
