Search and Rescue Swimmer, Nuclear Fire Safety Security, Top Secret Securtiy Clearance, and many other activities aboard a Submarine Repair Ship.
Travelled to 9 different foreign countries, serving our country in complete "PEACE" time, although rescued a Koren Fishing boat capasized, and patrolled China during a "Blockade" from Twain.

Was an Engineman 3rd class Petty Officer aboard the U.S.S. Vandegrift (FFG-48) from 1997-2001. Stationed in San Diego for 8 months before the ship homeport shifted to Yokosuka, Japan.
Spent three years of the 4 years aboard the ship in Japan.
Great experience and wouldn't change any of it.

Our R O W V A High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
