About Me	About 40 years of global experience in the energy, refining and chemical industries; working with engineers from about 50 different nations. Worked summers in factories making plastic electrical, and metallic / plastic auto parts. Supervised as many as six engineers on two projects run in parallel; lead engineer on many projects. Wrote standards and mentored engineers; helped open new offices / divisions. Worked in a division with about 100 chemical process engineers (Foster Wheeler); about 70 engineers – 3 chemical, with a 55% turnover of employees in a matter of 5 years, but won 60% of owner’s engineering proposals (HDR: Cummins & Barnard); and worked in a division with a manager, administrative assistant and two chemical engineers (Norton Selexol Division): closed the (Selexol) division when it was sold (to Union Carbide, now at UOP). Authored numerous technical publications. Earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering (Manhattan College) and bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (Purdue University).
