Favorite School Memory	Having the use of the original locker room in the old Webster High. The lockers were only assigned to members of the wrestling team, and we kept them all year. It had a back, below ground entrance that was right next to the bus loop in the back of the...(read more)
About Me	After leaving Springfield, I joined the US Navy, and was assigned the rate of Hospital Corpsman, I managed to see a bit of the world. With the exception of a 30 minutes that I spent in a Navy helicopter that landed on an aircraft carrier, I was never on a ship. I was assigned duty in Naples, Italy on two different occasions, spending a total of almost two years there. Ever since then, I've been looking for a pizza that is as good as the ones that I had in Naples. I still haven't found it. I also spent a year in Vietnam with the Marines, in Phu Bai and Da Nang. After discharge from the Navy, I went into banking. From 1971 to 1993, I worked for a bank that was originally named Dime Banking, which became Anchor Bank, which became The Dime, which became Washington Mutual. In 1989 , I was transferred from the Western NY area to NJ. I left the bank in 1993, with the intention of not having to work again, but a bit of boredom and a desire to have a bit more to spend sent me back to work in various jobs. For a short time, I worked in banking again, then cooked in a small local restaurant and finally, worked in the accounting department of Sharp Electronics.
