About Me	Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9) Melody is a world traveler with dual American and Hong Kong citizenship. Of the more than 52 countries that she has visited, her favorite places are Namibia, Israel, Jamaica, and Hong Kong. In 2011, she traveled to 17 countries and felt right at home when she stepped on African soil. Melody, who is an advocate for animal rights, travels everywhere with her Siberian husky, Johannesburg. She has also supported antipoverty activities, and has traveled to Nigeria to promote entrepreneurship strategies to women and youth. Some of her upcoming projects are to develop summer camps and "Bringing the Classroom to Landfills", an organization providing education for children and adults living in communities with waste. Melody also plans to connect with Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth, a campaign established to convince the world of the severity of the situation in the Niger Delta. She hopes to bring not only fresh and clean water, education, clothes and food to the area, but to provide an opportunity for the local people in the Niger Delta to share their stories and have their voices heard.
