I had gone to see Denise in 2004, in Louisiana, while I was at Vandenburg AFB, CA. We had lost contact for a long time due to me moving around a bit with the military. We picked up right where we left off as if we had never been apart. She had always been the best friend I had. She taught me how to make little hairbows, for the dogs she would groom, while we caught up. I miss her so but, I have had her picture on my shelf since I last spent time with her.
