About Me	After I graduated from the U of I, I taught for 7 years at Serena H.S. before getting married and moving to Elgin in 1983, I have been teaching English/Language Arts in District 300 since then, with a few years off for children. I also became a certified personal trainer in 1996 and have my own studio in my home where I see clients. Since college, I have been very involved in hundreds of fitness-related events including 5 marathons. Currently I am teaching 7th grade Language Arts and AVID at Dundee Middle School, where I am also team leader and literacy department head.
