About	She was born in Pullman and graduated from Washington State University majoring in speech therapy and worked in Seattle. She obtained a master's degree in library science at the University of Texas. Ann worked for 17 years as a reference librarian in New York and Iowa. She joined the Stephen Ministries and worked for four years as a teacher in Papua, New Guinea. She died after a brief struggle with cancer and a stroke.
