About Me	Michael Aragon is the current Program Manager for Conferences and Short Courses under the Division of Continuing Education at Colorado State University – Pueblo. In this capacity, Michael is tasked with developing both non-credit courses geared towards professional development, as well as conferences that incorporate the expertise and knowledgeable research of the university’s staff. Additionally, Michael serves as a community outreach specialist, where he seeks opportunities that have an economic impact in and throughout the southeast and south-central regions of Colorado. Michael's professional experience is rooted in the K-12 education system (Special Education), but was expanded in his time as the primary business recruitment, retention and expansion specialist for Trinidad - Las Animas County Economic Development, Inc. He has extensive knowledge in financial management, business incubation, community assessment, strategic planning, program development and capital improvement projects. Michael is currently enrolled in the Northcentral University’s Doctorate of Philosophy program, where he is researching organizational leadership and corporate culture impacts based on performance management systems.
