| About Me | After high school, I moved to Co Spgs where I became a Police Officer. During my 5 yrs of service, I was decorated with the Police Commendation & Life Saving Medals and several written commendations while working in Vice and Narcotics. I also had the opportunity to be the Body Guard for Prime Minister of Turkey & his Family for the 1982 NATO Conference. I was injured on duty and needed to take a leave of absence. Originally I had thought I would come back to the CSPD but after about a year, life took me to a different direction-the circus, literally. I traveled with Ringling Bros Barnum Bailey Circus for about 10 years, where I became a performer; dancing and doing a Liberty Horse Act and Elephant Act in Japan. I lived there for about a year. Japan was a very exciting country to live in and I loved it there. When I left the show, I decided to live in Florida. I moved from Venice, Fl. to WPB. Being single again, I kept my self busy with work. I ended up with working several jobs at the same time. I went back to school an obtained my Realtor License. With the lawenforcement back ground I also found myself working as a Private Investigator. However, the job, which I loved the most at that time was bartending/party planning for Donald Trump at Mar-a-largo in the evenings. When all the hurricanes hit Florida (Jean, Francis, Charlie, and Wilma all with in a month), the real estate business came to a sudden halt. I was fortunate enough to get a job as a Disaster Housing Inspector for FEMA. Three yrs ago I received a call from my brother in Denver asking me to come back home to help with my other brother James, as his health is failing. So that is how I found myself back home in Colorado. I started working for the DAs Office in Colorado Springs when ...Murphy hit!!!! ...a filing cabinet fell on top of me crushing two discs and fracturing my hip. I had surgery June 2010. I have graduated from a walker to a cane in Sept. and I am presently in Physical Therapy hoping to leave the cane behind very soon. So, as of now I guess you could say I am a " lady...(read more) |
