Served 24 years, stationed in Italy, Fort Bragg, The Netherlands, Germany, Fort Irwin, and Fort Hood. Deployments, Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Provide Comfort, Bosnia, IFOR, SFOR, Croatia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Hurricane Katrina. Even throughout the time Pueblo was in my rearview, I know coming north bound on I25 down the Raton Pass, it is 45-60 minutes away!

I was in Army ROTC at CSU Pueblo. Received my private pilots license my senior year. Transferred to Naval Aviation at graduation. Became Naval pilot. Became navy test pilot. Was injured, losing part of lung. Became Security officer Naval Electronics Command and Pentagon. Became a Naval Reserve pilot.

I was the last resort if the pilot and crew had to eject from an aircraft. Worked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier during launch and recoveries as the safety coordinator,phase supervisor, basically I worked in every phase of aircraft maintenance , safety, and Q.A in A-7 attack , F-14, S-3 sub hunters and Sh-60 helocopters over my 20 year career.
