Rachel was a friend at PSJA and we were in several school clubs as well. I was so happy for her when she won Homecoming Queen for the Class of '78. I moved to Austin shortly after HS graduation and attended the University of Texas. At this point, I lost touch with Rachel and many other HS friends. We didn't have social media back then.
I can't recall whether it was the end of my Freshman or Sophomore year, that I heard Rachel had passed. To this day, I have no idea what happened. Does anyone know?
Rachel was awesome! Very outgoing, funny and full of life. Just an overall kind and gentle human being. Miss ya my friend.
