| About Me | If you are a "Collector" of friends on FB - go away, please. I am defined as an atheist simply because I do not believe in god(s) and am inclined to trust scientific evidence. It is not a life-style, nor a 'religion'. If you are 'religious' you may find this occasionally offensive - for this I do not make apologies. I also make no apologies for being a liberal but not adhering to many so-called liberal fads - I am not anti-GMO, anti-Monsanto, anti-vac, pro-organic, herbalism, anti-police, or even anti death penalty. I am simply pro-science. Freely available healthcare and education is good science. Feeding and keeping people warm and secure is good science. I am not so open-minded that my brain has fallen out. I don't believe in being tolerant if tolerance means turning a blind eye to sexism, racism, or many of the other discriminatory isms or phobias. I love animals but eschew animal pages that capitalize on breeding, infirmities, or people who make a living displaying their particular animal.
