After high school, worked full time throughout the summer at Target Stores Inc. in Duluth. Sep 1977Joined Minnesota Army National. Attended Basic & AIT training In at Fort Dix, NJ & Aberdeen Proving grounds, MD. Returned to Minnesota & hired by DMIR Railroad. Worked 6 yrs between layoffs. Moved to St Paul to work for National Guard full time. 1989 Married my bride Laurel LeBlanc. in 1992 went back to school to pursue CNA title & RN nursing degree, worked as CNA part time while attending nursing school. Graduated Nursing school in 1995 as an RN. 1996 hired to first full time job as a RN in a transitional care center. 1997 hired by Regions Hospital working Gen care/med surg.postions. Continued my career as a member of the Minnesota Army national guard. Positions held were platoon leader, Executive officer, Company commander, S-4, Logistics, Dep G-4 Logistics officer. Attained the rank of Major. Dec 1998 our first child Abby was born. Dec of 1998 retired from Military with 23 yrs of service. 2002 our son Luc was born. 2001 hired as a ICU nurse at Regions. Currently still working as SICU RN at Regions Hospital. Currently live in St Paul, MN. Summer months we enjoy biking, Minnesota twins/St Paul Saints baseball games. Boating on St Croix river, coaching kids softball baseball teams(retired from Rec coaching with 12 yrs total 2017.) Winter months you can find me at Buck Hill downhill racing/spirit mtn, lutsen mtns, Indianhead mtn, Michigan free skiing with my family. In feb We take our annual 2-3 week family ski vacation to Brundage Mtn, ID to ski the big mtns & the deep powder they have. Brundage averages 300"+ annually. Currently one daughter in College(Luther College) and one son in 8th grade. In sep we will celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. Looking forward to seeing everyone this year at our 40th class reunion.
