About	Joann Marie Liebgott, 66, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 20, 2021. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, James Joseph Liebgott; daughters, Melanie Joy Newborn (Andy), Jessica Hertsch, Mary Joann Luck (Daniel); mother, Marion Zieta Dyamonds Novick; grandchildren, Tori, Alex, Julia, Layla, Zoe, James, Jacob, & Jason; sisters, Kathy McDonald, Terese Dickerson (Paul); brother, Vincent Novick (Adrienne). Joann was preceded in death by her father, Vincent John Novick; granddaughter, Libby Faith Luck; son-in-law, Timothy Wayne Hertsch, Jr. Joann was a free spirit and a child of the sixties, she loved helping animals and was especially gifted at nursing baby birds until they were strong enough to survive. She was into sewing and quilting, all kinds of rock music, including Poco, Firefall, Elton John, Billy Joel, and she was a devoted follower of any band her husband, Jim was playing with. As her girls were growing up, Joann was the "Mom" of the neighborhood, always welcoming any friend of the girls or even stray kids that just needed some motherly love. She was a devoted wife, a loving mom and nana, and she will be missed by everyone that knew her. The family will be having a Celebration of Joann's Life on Sunday August 29, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10) North Chesterfield, VA 23234. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm prior to the service.
