He was born February 1,1958 to Steve and Maxine [Manning] Ketchem in Middletown, Ohio. He worked as a stock keeper at Square D for 26 years and was a member of Life Way Christian Church. He graduated in 1976 from Preble Shawnee High School, coached T-Ball and played Santa Clause for many years.
